UPDATE - HIPs
6th November 2006 saw the start of a pilot scheme in six locations in England to assess the effectiveness of HIPs in speeding up the home buying and selling process.
Southampton, Newcastle, Northampton, Bath, Huddersfield and Cambridge are the six test areas.
Homesellers in these areas will not have to pay for the packs produced for Pilot Scheme purposes.
