His speciality now is acting on behalf of Defendants in difficult personal injury claims, particularly EL, HSE or Police prosecutions.

career history/ router to Buller Jeffries
Patrick trained at Hunt Dickens (now Freeth Cartwright) in Nottingham, gaining experience in claimant injury claims and civil and commercial litigation. He then moved to Clark Brookes, and was recruited to Pinsents, where he developed a defendant injury practice whilst also undertaking professional negligence work. He moved to Buller Jeffries in 2003.

Patrick is a member of FOIL, the British Insurance Brokers’ association and the Birmingham Medico Legal Society. A number of his cases have been reported and articles written by him published.

interests outside work
With the recent arrival of his second child, much of Patrick’s free time is spent experiencing the joys of parenthood! Given the chance he enjoys most sports including golf, football and yoga, as well as the outdoors and travelling.
