career history/ route to Buller Jeffries
Helen was articled to Edge & Ellison, and qualified in 1990. She was made an associate in 1995. She joined Mills and Reeve in 1999, and then moved to Buller Jeffries in 2001. She was made an associate in 2003.

most proud professional moment/ greatest achievement
Successfully appealing a decision for the Post Office in the Court of Appeal which saw the Claimant’s damages reduced from £180,000 to £3,500.

most embarrassing professional moment
Not realising on a telephone case management conference that the District Judge was female, and addressing her as Sir throughout until my opponent rather gleefully addressed the judge, with heavy emphasis, as Ma’am.

anything you think people would like to know/ would be surprised to know about you
Helen is ambidextrous, which is very useful in a multi-tasking woman!
