Nigel deals primarily with claims involving personal injury, clinical or professional negligence. He is also involved in commercial litigation, and brings his experience as a defendant lawyer to bear when representing claimants.

Nigel is also the Consul for Iceland in Birmingham.

career history/ route to Buller Jeffries
Nigel completed articles with Coward Chance, and has specialised in insurance claims litigation since 1974. He moved to George Green & Co (1982 – 1996), to being a Partner at Weightmans (1996 – 2004) and joined Buller Jeffries in 2004, as a consultant.

publications/ professional memberships
Nigel is a member of FOIL and the Birmingham Medico Legal Society.

most proud professional moment/ greatest achievement
(1) Successfully completing his first Cerebral Palsy birth injury claim, acting for the claimant. (2) Running two trials in neighbouring Courts in the High Court on the same day, and resolving both successfully!

interests outside work
Wife and two children. Nigel also plays golf and tennis and enjoys travel plus watching all sports, particularly Aston Villa.
