BELGRADE THEATRE

Last month, Caroline Coates, partner was given the chance to execute her curtsey when meeting HRH the Duke of Wessex at the opening of the refurbished Belgrade Theatre in Coventry.  You may know that the Belgrade is named after the city due to a programme of co-operation between the 2 cities post-WW2 and indeed some of the timber and building materials for the theatre came from Belgrade.

Recently the theatre has undergone a massive rebuild and refurbishment to include a second auditorium (“B2”) which allows more community involvement in the theatre.  Caroline’s invitation came as a result of her role as chairman of Coventry First, a members’ organisation promoting the professional and financial services sector in Coventry and Warwickshire.  The prince was invited to meet business leaders and was keen to hear about the issues facing local businesses.  He also heard about how Coventry First use the theatre for breakfast seminars on a regular basis and other events.

The regeneration of Coventry continues apace and Buller Jeffries are growing their Coventry office in line with these changes.  For more information contact Caroline on 024 7822 8734 or caroline.coates@bullerjeffries.com.
