LEGAL 500 (2006)

Buller Jeffries is celebrating its recognition in no fewer than four categories of the Legal 500 (2006) edition published last week. The teams in commercial property, construction, defendant personal injury and professional negligence have had their work recognised as being amongst the leading practitioners of the West Midlands.

The Commercial Property Department which has been highlighted in Legal 500 for the first time are delighted and none more so than the Head of Property, Clive Vernon, who is singled out for praise for his “personable and plain speaking” approach.

The firm’s expertise in construction and professional negligence which are inextricably linked to its formidable reputation in insurance litigation is also recognised with Caroline Coates’ work in actions against local authority professionals given special mention.

As usual, Buller Jeffries’ unrivalled depth of experience in defendant personal injury work is acknowledged with the team being described as “awash with senior-level talent” and clients quoted as appreciating their “industry knowledge, business acumen and first-class service.”  Senior partners Roger Coates, Geoff Lewis and Derek Adamson are identified as leading practitioners with Adamson described as “a meticulous, clear-thinking heavyweight, who can expose the weaknesses of the opposition.”

Roger Coates remarked, “We are delighted that our growing breadth of services has been recognised by Legal 500 and we will endeavour to build on our success.”
