FIRSTPRO, COVENTRY AND WARWICKSHIRE PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR
Buller Jeffries’ sponsorship of the property category at FirstPro, Coventry and Warwickshire Professional of the Year was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the property professionals in the area and many congratulations to David Penn of Shortland Horne, the winner of this category. The climax of the awards was at the Ricoh Arena on Friday 5th October at a glittering dinner with keynote speaker, Lord George of Tudy ( formerly Eddie George, governor of the Bank of England) who went on to present the awards with the assistance of compere, Gary Newbon. The overall winner was Adam Dent of Advent Communications.
FirstPro was the brain child of Buller Jeffries’ partner, Caroline Coates, who is chair of Coventry First, the organisation behind the awards. Caroline said: “These awards really do recognise the very best of talent in the professional sectors in Coventry and Warwickshire so it was very fitting to have someone of the calibre of Lord George who gave a fascinating insight not only to his career but also the role of the Bank of England and how that has changed over the last decade.
The standard of entries was extremely high and reflected the excellent work that goes on in this region. We felt that it was time that the high level of talent was recognised and this was a very fitting way of doing it.
